Very hard shifts after boosting dead battery

Post by SS3-Ray » Sat Aug 18, 2018 8:05 pm

The battery on my 2006 TBSS went dead and sat for 2 - 3 days. After I boosted the truck and let it idle to charge the battery back up 8 was driving away and the 1 - 2 shift hit extremely hard, the 2 - 3 shift was also harder than usual but not as bad.

This was not a coincidence as it ran perfectly before the battery died.

Can anyone tell me what has happened here and what I should do?

Try cleaning your MAF and then disconnect your battery for a few minutes.

Some weird things go on and you tend to hear them over and over.
